The "Theodor Herzl" Center for Israeli Studies at SNSPA cordially invites you to participate in a modular course titled "Israeli Politics and Society: A Comparative View on Israel and European Democracies." This course, taught by Prof. Dan Korn, an Honorary Professor at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, aims to provide a comparative perspective on the politics and society of Israel and European democracies. The study of Israeli Politics and Society is a complex and multi-dimensional field that encompasses a broad range of political, social, and cultural issues that are integral to the modern state of Israel. The political landscape of Israel is shaped by a diverse range of ideologies, parties, and interest groups that reflect the country's unique history and the ongoing challenges it faces.

Studying Israeli Politics and Society is essential for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the political, social, and cultural context of Israel, as well as the challenges and opportunities it faces as a nation. The comparative view on Israel and European democracies that Prof. Dan Korn's course offers can provide valuable insights and knowledge for anyone interested in politics, international relations, or the Middle East region. In recent years, Israeli politics has been characterized by a shifting balance of power between various political factions, including the right-wing, centrist, and left-wing parties. Moreover, Israeli society is marked by significant cultural and religious diversity, as well as complex relations with its neighbors and the international community.

Prof. Dan Korn teaches at IDC Herzliya and Beit Berl College, is a visiting professor at the London School of Economics, and is a former member of the Knesset.
